My Overall Experience in GigaMare

The Interview Day Even though we exactly don't know where GigaMare is we tried our luck just to attend the interview. As we ride the bus going to GigaMare I felt very nervous yet very excited and because of that I even don't know where we are currently that time, we have just trust the bus driver to take us there, actually GigaMare is little bit far from the main streets of SBMA it is located after Funtastic park and before Ocean Adventure. As we arrived in GigaMare it feels very different since the whole yard of GigaMare is surrounded by big trees, it almost feels like your inside a forest. So During the actual interview Sir Markwell Gallos the head of 3D content development team asked us if we do have a portfolio of our works since we are applying to be a trainee in Content development team as a Graphic Designer but then suddenly he asked us if we do have a background in creating a 3D object specially using Blender Software, he said that he is willing to teach us ble...

It's All About GigaMare

Giga came from the Greek word gigas which means ‘giant’ while Mare is the Latin word for ‘sea’. GigaMare is a Maritime training center that provides a different approach in terms of Maritime training, they take advantage on using technology as one of their main tool in their services. Gigamare also aims to provide a different approach of Maritime training, since it is located in the forest of SBMA which is not a usual place specially for a Maritime training. The IT Department GigaMare has its own IT Department which supports the needs of the company in terms of technology needed such as 3D objects and images, The It department is divided into 4 categories, the Content Creators, The Web Developers, The Network Administrators, and the Newly 3D Content developers . Where it all Started (Introduction)

Hi I am Jan Renzo J. Baranda a 4th year Student at Gordon College College of Computer Studies taking a Bachelors Degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Currently it is my last Semester in College and as part of our Curriculum we need to conduct a 500 hours On the Job Training in an IT Company to practice the things we have learned in our four years of studying and it is also a great opportunity for us to see a glimpse of how things work in the real world environment. At first I consider rendering my OJT outside Olongapo specially in Pampanga since Pampanga is well stablished and well-known in terms of IT company, until one day my classmate Jao Austero told us about a company called GigaMare which that time is in need of Graphics Designer, so I send a CV(Curriculum Vitae the image below) hoping that GigaMare will call me for an interview, then after a few days, GigaMare finally emailed me to attend an interview and this where my GigaMare OJT adventure started.
